Todd our Bass Trombonist served 10 years in the United States Marine Corps as a bass trombonist, tubist, and bassist with the Marine Corps Bands in San Diego, CA and Okinawa, Japan. He also served as a Marine Security Guard in South America and Western Europe.
He has performed “in every clime and place”, including Japan, Russia, Thailand, New Zealand, South Korea, and Australia. Since moving to Atlanta in 2015 he has been very active on the local music scene, playing both contrabass and bass trombone with multiple big bands and orchestras, and as a performer at the Southeast Trombone Symposium.
In addition to holding down the bass trombone chair with Capitol City Xpress, Todd also performs regularly with the First Baptist Atlanta Orchestra, Metro Jazz Club Big Band, Big Band Atlanta, and the Gwinnett Symphonic Wind Orchestra.
